A quick insight: January’s platform update focuses on clarity and consistency. Expanded translation support, Prism powered search improvements and lifecycle survey refinements help teams work with cleaner data, clearer insight and fewer manual workarounds across the platform.
The January 2026 update continues our focus on making the People Insight platform easier to use, easier to scale and easier to trust. This release strengthens the foundations of survey delivery, reporting and action planning by improving translation support, refining lifecycle survey behaviour and enhancing how users search and manage data.
Many of the changes in this update are subtle but important. They improve accuracy behind the scenes while also making everyday workflows clearer for survey owners, action owners and dashboard users. Together, these enhancements support better employee listening at scale and help organisations act on insight.
This platform update includes a mix of visible improvements and structural refinements. Several changes focus on international use, lifecycle survey logic and reporting accuracy, while others enhance the experience of building employee surveys and managing dashboards.
Translation support has been expanded across multiple areas of the platform.
We also extended translations within Action Planning across more supported languages. iDeck translations were also extended.
These changes help organisations run surveys and share insight across regions without confusion. A consistent language experience supports trust and reduces the risk of misinterpretation when reviewing results.
Action Insights PDF export has been enhanced. This improvement ensures that downloaded reports extends what users see in the platform. It supports clearer accountability by showing who owns each action and what progress or context has been recorded.
When adding dashboard users, you can set add them to the platform without giving them immediate access. You can set them to “inactive” and then switch them live in one go when you are ready. This applies to both new and existing users added manually. The flag makes it easier to manage access and understand which users currently have active dashboard permissions. It supports better access control and reduces confusion when maintaining user lists.
Prism-powered search has been added to question selection within the survey builder for both clients and People Insight users. When selecting questions, users can now search more intelligently using Prism-driven logic.
This internal enhancement improves how Likert and Comments questions are surfaced during survey design. Instead of scrolling through long lists, users can quickly find relevant questions based on intent and meaning, using natural language. This saves time and supports more consistent survey design, especially for organisations running multiple surveys or standardised programmes.
Several improvements have been made to lifecycle surveys to clarify behaviour and prevent unintended data relationships.
Alongside these changes, several small fixes and behaviour tweaks have been applied across lifecycle survey flows. These refinements improve reliability and reduce edge case issues, especially for organisations running joiner, leaver or transition surveys at scale.
In addition to the exciting headline updates above, this platform update includes internal stability improvements and small refinements across the platform. These changes support performance, reduce friction and improve consistency across modules.
While many of these updates are not immediately visible, they play an important role in keeping the platform dependable as data volumes grow and survey programmes evolve.
This platform update strengthens both the user experience and the data foundations of the People Insight platform. Improved translation support helps international teams work with confidence. Prism powered search makes survey design faster and more consistent. Reporting updates improve accountability and clarity. Lifecycle survey refinements reduce complexity and support cleaner data.
Together, these changes make it easier to gather employee feedback, understand what matters most and take informed action. They support smarter action by reducing noise, improving structure and helping insight travel clearly from data to decision.
